SETH DAWSON

Director of Baseball Operations / Public Address Announcer

Seth has been involved with the Merchants for over thirty years! He serves as the teams President and Director of Baseball Operations. Seth also served as the PIL’s President from 1995-2000 and League Commissioner 2000-2005.

During all games, he also works as the public address announcer, and he helps prepare / promote information about the Merchant players and program.

He is a former Snohomish County Prosecuting Attorney and currently works in Olympia as a lobbyist for 14 different human service organizations on issues such as mental health, homelessness and supports employment for people with developmental disabilities.

The local Dawson Place Child Advocacy Center, which institutes a multidisciplinary approach toward child abuse and neglect, is named after him in recognition of his continuing work in this field
