Merchants defeat Rush Baseball 10-4

July 13, 2021 – Edmonds, WA: Trailing 2-0 early in the game the Merchants came back for a 10-4 victory against Rush Baseball. Starter Charlie Wright had 8 strikeouts in 6.0 innings to earn his third victory of the season. Trailing 2-1, the Merchants scored three runs in the top of the sixth inning and never looked back.
Cole Cramer continued his hot hitting with a double, a triple and four RBI. Cam Keller had a two-run double and Jaxsen Sweum also had a pair of RBI’s in the game. Riley Quinton was 2-3.
9 of the 12 position players that appeared in the game for the Merchants had at least on hit. Everett also stole 5 bases. The Merchants have now won four games in a row and will return to league play on Saturday at the Highline Bears.
