Merchants Rebound with 11-1 win

June 16, 2021 – Everett, WA: The Everett Merchants rebounded from Monday’s night loss with a 11-1 victory over the Redmond Dudes. The Merchants pounded out 14 hits and took advantage of four errors by the Dudes. Charlie Wright was masterful on the mound allowing only one hit through 7.1 innings of work for his first win of the season and second quality start in two appearances.

Jordan Justice continued his hot hitting going 5-5 to raise his average to .467 on the season. Over the past two games he is 9-10. He also homered for the second time this year and scored four runs. Brody Ponti hit a grand slam and drove in 6 runs while Jaxsen Sweum had three hits including a triple.

Everett is now 5-2 and will finish up the homestand on Thursday night with a 7:05 game against the Highline Bears before departing to Alaska.
